'allo, there. Was going to actually say something with this, but tired + way the hot evening = incoherence, so you'll be spared the explanation and etc. Anywho. Point is, I've got a bunch of Oliver Twist icons. A few animated, but mostly not fancy in any way. Still, might be of interest, soooo here you are.
Including the 2005 film, the BBC version from--ahhhhh--would need to check the date, and the musical.
Forewarning: There may be a slight dominance by one character, in particular. Just sayin'.
Aussi, should anyone ever stumble upon an Oliver Twist--orrrr closely related--RPG on livejournal (or perhaps greatestjournal), please do tell. >.> Because you know it'd be good times.
All righty, to the icons, now.
Mmmm, Bill. I do love him.
...You're just the person I'm looking for. I've got an RPG called Ripped from the Pages (Ripped, for short) and it's basically a bunch of book characters running around in London. And it's fun. And, I happen to be looking for people from Oliver Twist to join up. I'm plannign on advertising it on here soon enough. I'm just... lazy. It's not on LJ or GJ or anything, but if you're interested, please take a look:
Bookmarking your icons. They're WONDERFUL. And Bill! He's so... sexy. Which, reminds me, I should put pictures up here of the production of Oliver Twist I was in... Lots of stuff to do here. Unfortunately, the pictures of a production of Nicholas Nickleby I was in are gone, alas...
Anyways, take a look at Ripped.
I ramble a lot in comments. Sorry.
Oh, hi. I'm one of the maintainers, by the way.
...crap. Yeah, I'm definitely a-going to have a looksie at that. And will likely remark on your postie once have taken a look, because am rather intrigued (though so bad about remember message baord games... <.< Alas and alas.)
And many thanks. :D Shiny on potential production pictures (always fun, oh yes), and many gold stars for Bill love. Because he's coitenly one of the most excellent lit characters around, or so says I. (And here I curse msyelf for letting paid account expire, and thus losing use of all Sikes icons... grah.)
Rambling is awesome. XD
Awwwww. That's terrible. I'm upset for you.
He seriously is one of the most excellent lit characters around. Frankly, when I first read Oliver Twist (I have now read it two and a half times) I didn't care about Oliver one wink. I only started caring about him when I had to start caring about him and he was a cute kid. I actually only cared about Nancy and Fagin and Dodger and Bill. I told this to the guy who played Bill with me and he was all, "YOU CARED ABOUT SIKES?" Um... Yeah... He's a bad fictionary character to have a crush on, but that doesn't exactly stop me.
Side note. Everyone else in the show called him Sikes when we'd talk about the characters out of character, etc. I called him Bill.
